Abstract
Perpustakaan berfungsi sebagai wahana pendidikan, penelitian, pelestarian, informasi, dan rekreasi dalam rangka meningkatkan kecerdaskan dan keberdayaan bangsa. Penerapan fungsi rekreasi di perpustakaan telah dikembangkan dengan adanya program edu-tourism. Edu-tourism merupakan penggabungan antara konsep wisata dengan pendidikan. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui potensi daya tarik perpustakaan untuk pengembangan program edu-tourism. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif, dan proses analisis data dilakukan melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data dan kesimpulan atau verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa potensi daya tarik perpustakaan untuk pengembangan program edu-tourism di Dinas Kearsipan dan Perpustakaan Kota Bandung, antara lain: (1) Arsip sejarah kota Bandung; (2) Pameran tematik; (3) Koleksi perpustakaan; (4) Kegiatan Pendidikan; (5) Ruang baca dan studi. Perpustakaan Kota Bandung memiliki potensi daya tarik yang besar dalam mengembangkan edu-tourism, membawa manfaat pendidikan dan pengalaman wisata kepada masyarakat. Dengan koleksi arsip dan perpustakaan yang kaya, mencakup dokumen sejarah, artefak budaya, dan sumber daya lainnya, perpustakaan ini menawarkan peluang pembelajaran langsung yang mendalam dan otentik.
