Abstract
The objective of the research is to determine displacements and fundamental frequencies of the Huaripachi bridge through the technique of the global positioning system; Monitoring the metrics of the bridge structure is vital to control the degradation or corrosion of the structures.The data acquisition was with a 10Hz sampling, processed in the Precise Point Positioning Service of the Canadian Spa-tial Reference System (CSRS-PPP), semi-static, dynamic displacement and the fundamental frequency were deter-mined, by mean methods.mobile, Chebyshev type I, fast Fourier transform and Continuous Wavelet.The results of the investigation showed semi-static displacements of 4.96, 5.15 and 25.47 mm, dynamic displacements of 2.30, 3.18 and 12.36 mm in lateral and vertical components respec-tively and finally the fundamental frequencies of the bridge were found to be 0.61, 0.71, 1.05 and 2.47 Hz. with verti-cal absolute error of -2.0%, 50% and 1.5% for semi-static, dynamic and fundamental frequency.
