Abstract
L’ibridazione letteraria del romanzo di formazione con quello di famiglia (Abignente 2017, 2021; Lucamante 2022) rappresenta il fulcro del presente articolo che ragiona sulla presenza della famiglia intesa come necessaria “Altra” della scrittura autobiografica di Goliarda Sapienza. Del corpus chiamato dall’autrice l’“Autobiografia delle contraddizioni” si prendono in esame alcune tappe quali Lettera aperta (1967), Il filo di mezzogiorno (1969), Io, Jean Gabin (2010, post.) e “Lettera aperta III” (2011, post.), in cui l’autrice ricompone la memoria personale e familiare, inizialmente compromessa dalla terapia per elettroshock, ripensandosi all’interno della “tribù Sapienza-Giudice.” Si esaminano alcune funzioni autoriali del genere delle memorie di famiglia attraverso la lettura di alcune pagine edite dei taccuini che raccontano il travagliato iter di scrittura del romanzo inedito Amore sotto il fascismo (1989–1994) e il tema delle origini familiari viene approfondito nella sua natura intermediale nell’opera Io, Jean Gabin.
