Publikasi Internasional merupakan kewajiban bagi mahasiswa S3 dan dosen yang akan mengusulkan kenaikan jabatan akademik ke jenjang Professor. Pada publikasi internasional ini ternyata berdampak dalam aspek ekonomi dan budaya bagi suatu bangsa. Kajian pada jurnal ini dilakukan secara deskriptif berdasarkan sumber-sumber yang ada. Hasil kajian yang diperoleh bahwa publikasi internasional sangat berdampak secara ekonomi dengan nilai sekitar Rp. 75 M pertahun. Dengan demikian publikasi internasional sangat berdampak bagi bangsa Indonesia.
