Abstract
Peptide-Based Hydrogels In article number 2402564, Marc Ruel, Erik J. Suuronen, Emilio I. Alarcon, and co-workers develop a minimalistic and versatile biomaterial that rapidly gels on the spot using click chemistry and supramolecular assembly of custom-designed collagen-like peptides. After screening through a library of custom peptides, top candidate formulations are tested to repair skin and cornea and as a delivery system for treating infarcted heart muscle.
