Evaluasi Tingkat Kenyamanan Termal Taman Kota di Kabupaten Bandung

Abstract. City parks are a medium for humans to interact and relieve fatigue and boredom in the midst of busy human activities, so city parks need to have supporting aspects such asthermal comfort. Thermal comfort is the air temperature condition in an environment suitable for human activities and basic human needs. The optimal thermal comfort will have a positive effect on the livability of a city and an important role in improving the quality of social and environmental life of the community, but in Bandung Regency, the air temperature exceeds the optimal temperature in Indonesia. Based on BPS Bandung Regency, the maximum temperature in 2019-2023 is in the range of 29.41°C-32.6°C which has an increase in air temperature of around 0.11°C in the last 4 years. In contrast, according to BMKG the air temperature in Bandung Regency should have a temperature range between 19°C-29°C. This is reinforced by the three city parks, namely the Soreang Square City Park, Baleendah City Park, and Ciwidey City Park which are still below 85%. So the city park should be a medium provider of thermal comfort becomes less optimal because of the lack of green cover. This study uses the Thermal Humidity Index (THI) analysis method with a quantitative approach and data collection techniques through field observations and literature studies. The results of the THI analysis obtained overall results in a comfortable category with an index value of 23, but the results of THI based on the measurement point obtained two results, the first being a comfortable category at 21- 23 at the point of pavement, grass cover and tree shade. Meanwhile, outside the park is categorized as quite comfortable at 25. So that the area outside the park needs additional vegetation to provide a shading effect. Abstrak. Keberadaan taman kota menjadi media bagi manusia untuk tempat berinteraksi dalam menghilangkan penat dan kejenuhan di tengah kesibukan aktivitas manusia, sehingga taman kota perlu memiliki aspek pendukung seperti kenyamanan termal. Kenyamanan termal ialah kondisi pada temperatur udara di suatu lingkungan yang sesuai untuk aktivitas manusia dan kebutuhan dasar manusia. Dengan adanya kenyamanan termal yang optimal akan memberikan efek positif terhadap kelayakan huni sebuah kota dan menjadi peran penting dalam meningkatkan kualitas kehidupan sosial dan lingkungan masyarakat, namun pada Kabupaten Bandung yang suhu udaranya melebihi suhu optimal di Indonesia. Berdasarkan BPS Kab. Bandung suhu maksimum tahun 2019-2023 berada di kisaran 29,41°C-32.6°C yang memiliki kenaikan suhu udara berkisar 0,11°C dalam 4 tahun terakhir, padahal menurut BMKG suhu udara di Kab. Bandung seharusnya memiliki suhu berkisar di antara 19°C-29°C. Hal ini diperkuat dengan ketiga taman kota yaitu taman kota Alun-Alun Soreang, taman kota Baleendah, dan taman kota Ciwidey yang masih di bawah 85%. Sehingga taman kota yang seharusnya menjadi media penyedia kenyamanan termal menjadi kurang optimal karena tutupan hijau yang kurang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis Thermal Humidity Indeks (THI) dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dan teknik pengumpulan datanya melalui observasi lapangan dan studi pustaka. Hasil analisis THI mendapatkan hasil secara keseluruhan berkategori nyaman dengan nilai indeks 23 namun hasil THI berdasarkan titik pengukuran mendapatkan dua hasil yang pertama kategori nyaman di angka 21-23 di titik perkerasan, tutupan rumput dan naungan pohon. Sementara itu, di luar taman berkategori cukup nyaman di angka 25. Sehingga area luar taman perlu penambahan vegetasi untuk memberikan efek peneduh.
