Analisis Kesesuaian Pemanfaatan Ruang dengan Kegiatan Penambangan Pasir di Kecamatan Srumbung, Kabupaten Magelang
Bibliographic record
Abstract
Abstract. This study aims to analyze the spatial utilization compliance with sand mining activities in Srumbung District, which is located within the Mount Merapi National Park area. Sand mining in this area holds significant economic value for the local community but has the potential to damage the ecosystem if not properly managed. According to Presidential Regulation No. 70 of 2014, sand mining in the national park area is conditionally permitted, particularly in certain protected areas. The research methodology uses a qualitative approach, with spatial data overlay techniques through ArcGIS to analyze land suitability. Data was collected through interviews, observations, and surveys, and then analyzed descriptively. The analysis results show that in protected area 3 (L3), located along the riverbanks, sand mining activities comply with the regulations. This is evidenced by the fact that 56.28% of this area is used for rice paddy fields, while sand areas only cover 1.1% of the total area. However, field observations revealed an expansion of mining activities into protected area 4 (L4), which does not comply with regulatory provisions and covers an area of approximately 89.21 hectares. This mining activity has the potential to cause environmental damage and long-term negative impacts. Therefore, this study emphasizes the importance of strict control and supervision of sand mining activities, particularly in areas that should be protected, to maintain a balance between environmental, social, and economic aspects in Srumbung District.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
