Les entreprises se plient-elles toujours à la réglementation qui les concerne ? Peut-on s’attendre à ce qu’elles cherchent à dépasser les normes en vigueur, surtout lorsque leurs ressources sont limitées ? Enfin, à l’heure où tout scandale est rapidement relayé, où des organismes et des fonds sont dédiés à la santé publique et à l’environnement, une entreprise qui enfreint la loi aux dépens de sa collectivité peut-elle trouver une sortie à son avantage ? C’est ce que ce livre propose d’explorer à partir d’une controverse environnementale qui a fait les manchettes au Québec de 2012 à 2019 : l’affaire Anacolor. La première partie de l’ouvrage est consacrée à l’histoire de cette controverse. La deuxième partie fait le point sur les éléments qui l’ont déclenchée et ceux qui auraient permis de l’éviter à travers une réflexion sur le cas, une mise en situation et des questions ciblées. Ce livre s’adresse aux enseignants et enseignantes ainsi qu’aux étudiants et étudiantes qui s’intéressent aux controverses, aux citoyens et citoyennes qui cherchent à structurer leurs actions sur le terrain et aux gestionnaires qui souhaitent développer leurs activités en harmonie avec leur milieu.
