Human Resources Management Journal (HRMJ) plays a vital role in advancing the field of human resources application by publishing high-quality research in the broadly-defined subject area of managing people at work.One of the central aspects of our mission is encouraging the submission of theory papers that address topics central to the mission of this journal (Budhwar et al., 2024).Theory papers offer foundational insights that shape the direction of human resources research and influence organisational practices.To advance this mission, the editors of HRMJ have created a designated Associate Editor role with the explicit purpose of encouraging more theory paper
