Abstract
India's stand so far in the Khalistani leader Hardeep Singh Nijjar case has also drawn attention to whether India is trying to change its soft-state image? A few days ago, when Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau in his Parliament had accused India of being behind the murder of Khalistani separatist leader Hardeep Singh Nijjar, India had rejected it as absurd and motivated. When Indian Foreign Minister Dr. S. When Jaishankar was asked, he said that this (such killings) is not the policy of the Government of India. Also, India has asked Canada that if they have any specific and relevant information then they should tell India and India is ready to consider it. Jaishankar also said that India has given Canada a lot of information about organized crime and their leadership related to active separatist forces. Over the past few years, Canada has seen a lot of organized crime related to separatist forces, violence and extremism, all of which are deeply interconnected.
