Abstract
Cystic fibrosis transmembrane conductance regulator (CFTR) modulator therapy has transformed the lives of many people with CF (pwCF) with improved quality of life (QoL), fewer pulmonary exacerbations (PEx) and hospitalisations, and slower decline in pulmonary function [1]. However, many pwCF still lack effective disease modifying therapy. For example, the European Medicines Agency has authorised the triple combination modulator treatment, elexacaftor-tezacaftor-ivacaftor (ETI) in pwCF (aged 2 years and above) who have at least one F508del mutation.
