Abstract
Introdução: O guia "Roteiro de Como Criar um Periódico Científico", é um recurso detalhado que visa orientar pesquisadores e instituições na criação e gestão de periódicos científicos. Publicado pelo Portal de Periódicos da UNICAMP em 2024, o documento abrange desde os conceitos básicos até as práticas avançadas de editoração e publicação científica. Objetivo: O principal objetivo do guia é fornecer um passo a passo abrangente para a criação de um periódico científico, abordando aspectos essenciais como planejamento, registro, questões éticas, uso de identificadores digitais (ISSN, DOI, ORCID), gerenciamento editorial, e políticas de preservação digital.
