Abstract
Em tempos de metamorfoses das relações de comunicação e trabalho, Rafael Grohmann estimula a atualização constante dos conceitos utilizados que descrevem essas transformações. A disputa léxica e de sentidos é um traço comum em suas pesquisas desde que dissertou sobre os jornalistas freelancers (sem direitos sociais e trabalhistas). Em suas análises, o pesquisador mescla sociologia, comunicação e geografia em suas pesquisas atuais que buscam refletir sobre a cadeia de produção de valor da Inteligência Artificial. Ao participar de redes de pesquisas em diferentes lugares do mundo, o professor assistente da University of Toronto tem se dedicado a compreender o chão de fábrica da inteligência artificial e os trabalhadores de dados dentro do cenário de dependência política e econômica da América Latina. Durante o diálogo, o pesquisador anunciou lançamentos de livros, artigos, participação em congressos para debater a rede de produção de IA. A entrevista mostra este dinamismo das pesquisas e do próprio Grohmann que joga em várias posições na arena da averiguação científica ao combinar metodologias, objetivos e redes específicas em torno de temas, problemas e reflexões característicos do nosso tempo.
