Le Journal canadien de la pharmacie hospitalière (JCPH) a rejoint un groupe de revues internationales de pharmacie clinique et sociale, qui a récemment adopté le titre formel de International Collaboration of Pharmacy Journal Editors (ICPJE).L'objectif collectif de l'ICPJE vise à accroître la qualité et les facteurs d'impact des revues consacrées à la pratique de la pharmacie.Les rédacteurs en chef se sont rencontrés pour la première fois à Grenade, en Espagne, en 2022, pour discuter de ces principes.Ils y ont préparé les Déclarations de Grenade (Granada Statements) qui consistent en 18 recommandations relevant de 6 domaines thématiques généraux.Les descriptions complètes de ces déclarations peuvent être consultées dans un article de synthèse qui a été publié simultanément dans plusieurs revues de l'ICPJE 1-14 , et une description plus détaillée de l'ICPJE, anciennement connu sous le nom de Granada Group of journals, se trouve sur leur site Web (https://granadastatements.weebly.com/).En bref, les Déclarations de Grenade se concentrent sur les concepts suivants.Le premier concerne « l'utilisation appropriée de la terminologie » afin de mieux s'aligner sur les Medical Subject Headings (MeSH) (les descripteurs qui servent à décrire les sujets dont traite un article) de la National Library of Medicine (NLM) américaine.De nombreuses disciplines hors du champ de la pharmacie clinique ont traditionnellement utilisé une terminologie technique plus précise et ont donc influencé plus directement l'élaboration des MeSH.L'ICPJE a discuté de plusieurs stratégies visant à définir des termes pouvant être utilisés de manière plus cohérente par les auteurs en pharmacie et, possiblement, exercer des pressions sur la NLM afin de réviser le système des MeSH et/ou d'adopter ces termes.
