Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

English Abstract: This article announces the discovery of two previously unknown works by the twentieth-century Italian composer Niccolò Castiglioni: Extravagant: Concerto for Piano and Orchestra and Written in Winter: Five Small Pieces for Piano and Orchestra . Both works are now held in manuscript form at the library of the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada. The discovery offers an opportunity for the re-evaluation of Castiglioni's four-year sojourn in the U.S. during the late 1960s and the impact of that sojourn on the composer's creative output. Included is an examination of the role of technology in the analysis, evaluation, preservation, and dissemination of musical heritage. Dabei handelt es sich um " Extravagant: Concerto for Piano and Orchestra " und " Written in Winter: Five Small Pieces for Piano and Orchestra ".

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
