AVALIAÇÃO DO COMPROMETIMENTO COGNITIVO, EMOCIONAL E NAS ATIVIDADES DA VIDA DIÁRIA EM PORTADORES COM D DOENÇA PULMONAR OBSTRUTIVA CRÔNICA

Abstract
Objetivo: Avaliar a existência de nível de comprometimento cognitivo, emocional e nas atividades da vida diária (AVD) e atividades instrumentais da vida diária (AIVD) por meio dos instrumentos inventário de Beck, Escala de Montreal (MoCA), London Chest Activity of Daily Living (LCADL) e o questionário sociodemográfico. Métodos: Trata-se de estudo exploratório com 83 portadores diagnósticos com DPOC no estágio II e III com idade entre 40 e 70 anos que se encontravam em acompanhamento na Unidade de Asma de Difícil Controle do Hospital Universitário Clementino Fraga Filho (RJ). Resultados: Foram incluídos 83 portadores com DPOC do tipo II e III, com maior quantidade de mulheres na faixa etária entre 61 a 70 anos. Eles tinham em média 8 anos de estudos (DPOC III), enquanto os com DPOC II conseguiram atingir mais de 15 anos, atuando em sua maioria no setor terciário (80%). Metade dos participantes fizeram uso de cigarro (55,4%) por mais de 30 anos e 12% ainda são fumantes ativos. A aplicação dos testes mostrou que ocorre déficit cognitivo, processo depressivo e dificuldade para realização das AVDs. Conclusões: Urge-se desenvolver outras pesquisas que envolvam a terapia ocupacional na reabilitação destes portadores, para que ocorra o desenvolvimento de intervenções terapêuticas na área de pneumologia, para que se efetive a promoção da independência, autonomia e redução do impacto da DPOC na realização das AVD e AIVD, cognição e queixas emocionais.
