Abstract
Les personnes en situation de handicap, spécifiquement les personnes paralysées cérébrales, ont besoin d’accompagnement dans l’accomplissement de leur vie affective et sexuelle. L’ergothérapeute, en tant que spécialiste de l’occupation, pourrait prendre en compte cet accompagnement, mais cette pratique, notamment liée à un sentiment d’incompétence et d’illégitimité, est rare. En 2019, un guide canadien de pratique ergothérapique a été publié pour des ergothérapeutes accompagnant des personnes atteintes de maladies neuro-musculaires. L’objectif de cette recherche, qui s’appuie sur ce guide, a été de déterminer le contenu d’un guide de pratique pour les ergothérapeutes français travaillant auprès de personnes atteintes de paralysie cérébrale. Pour cela, une recherche par le biais de la méthode Delphi a été effectuée. Douze experts ont été sélectionnés pour répondre à trois séries de questionnaires. Soixante et onze propositions ont suscité un consensus. Il s’agit de propositions d’accompagnement ergothérapique concernant les besoins liés à l’effectivité du droit à une vie émotionnelle et sexuelle, les difficultés motrices, l’éducation sexuelle et enfin l’accompagnement du couple. Les propositions des experts ont permis l’élaboration d’une première ébauche du guide.
