Abstract
O presente trabalho analisa como a educação CTS é contemplada no Projeto Pedagógico do Curso (PPC) de Ciências Biológicas de uma universidade pública do estado de Mato Grosso do Sul. Para tanto, realizou uma pesquisa de natureza qualitativa e documental, tendo como instrumento de coleta dados o PPC/2018 da universidade selecionada. Os dados foram sistematizados e analisados de acordo com a análise de conteúdo, sendo organizados em categorias para melhot analisar. Em linhas gerais, o PPC analisado conserva-se alinhado aos documentos que regem os cursos de formação docente inicial em relação às suas demandas, contudo, a perspectiva CTS permanece ofuscada ou com concepções de sentido ambíguo, as quais ficam à mercê da interpretação dos professores se irão abordá-la ou não em sala de aula como conteúdo, estratégia ou habilidade CTS, necessitando maiores adequações ou inclusões desta tríade na matriz do curso pesquisado, visto suas potencialidades e contribuições para o ensino.
