Abstract
Широкие археологические исследования, развернувшиеся в последние годы на территории Самарканда,позволили получить разнообразные и интересные археологические материалы, характеризующиеразличные стороны культуры его населения в разные исторические периоды. Особое место среди нихзанимают оссуарии. Несмотря на малочисленность находок, они проливают свет на художественнуюкультуру и религиозные представления согдийцев в доисламский период. В статье рассматриваютсяпоследние находки оссуариев в Самарканде и его окрестностях. Один из них обнаружен случайно ипроисходит с современного мусульманского кладбища Еттигур, расположенного напротив северо-за-падного угла городища Афрасиаб. Второй представлен лишь богато орнаментированной крышкой. Ноона была найдена в процессе раскопок дворца богатого горожанина на городище Кафиркала под Самаркандоми происходит из слоя заброса после пожара середины VIII века. Приводится их сопоставлениес другими выявленными ранее астоданами и обосновывается их датировка. Отдельно рассматриваютсяэлементы декора, их особенности и символическое значение. Тип оссуария из Еттигура ранее был известентолько по небольшим фрагментам. Теперь впервые его удалось реконструировать полностью. Крометого, находка оссуария из Еттигура может указывать на существование на северо-западной окраинеАфрасиаба еще одного оссуарного некрополя VII-VIII вв.
