Abstract
Perkotaan Watatu di Kecamatan Banawa Selatan merupakan Pusat Kegiatan Lokal di Kabupaten Donggala. Kondisi saat ini terdapat beberapa fungsi pelayanan yang kurang optimal di Watatu misalnya Terminal Tipe C. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Penentuan Perkotaan Watatu Kecamatan Banawa Selatan sebagai Pusat Kegiatan Lokal di Kabupaten Donggala. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan analisis kependudukan, analisis pergerakan, analisis kelengkapan fasilitas, dan analisis interaksi wilayah. Hasil analisis menuyatakan bahwa Desa Watatu, Desa Lalombi, Desa Mbuwu, dan Desa Surumana merupakan desa yang memiliki menjadi pusat pelayanan perkotaan. Hal tersebut ditandai dengan hasil analisis kependudukan diketahui bahwa desa-desa tersebut merupakan desa dengan jumlah penduduk paling banyak, memiliki pergerakan eksternal tertinggi yang ditandai dengan adanya terminal, memiliki kelengkapan fasilitas yang berada di hirarki paling tinggi, serta interaksi kawasan yang tertinggi dengan nilai interaksi tertinggi yaitu 10.828.030,00. Hasil penelitian juga mengidentifikasi bahwa perlu adanya peningkatan pelayanan fasilitas pendidikan dan peribadatan yang belum memadai guna memenuhi jangkauan pelayanan terhadap masyarakat disekitarnya
