Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

We are writing to request a change in the authorship line for a paper published in 2023. Webber, V., Bajzak, K., and Gustafson, D. L. (2023). The impact of rurality on vulvodynia diagnosis and management: Primary care provider and patient perspectives. Canadian Journal of Rural Medicine, 28 (3), 107-115. https://doi.org/10.4103/cjrm.cjrm_49_22. In line with the ICMJE guidelines defining the role of authors, and after consulting with members of our research team and senior administrators in the Faculty of Medicine at Memorial University, we request the addition of four contributors to the authorship of this paper. The revised authorship line would be: Webber, Valerie PhD1; Bajzak, Krisztina MD, MSc, FRCSC2, Gustafson, Diana L. MEd, MFA, PhD3, Logan, Gabrielle MSc4, Badaiki, Winifred MD, MHE5, Graham, Wendy MD, CCFP, FCFP, FRRMS6 and Duggan, Norah BSc, BMedSc, MD, CCFP, FCFP7 1Division of Community Health and Humanities, Memorial University, St. John’s, Canada 2Discipline of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Memorial University, St. John’s, Canada 3Division of Population Health and Applied Health Sciences, Memorial University, St. John’s, Canada 4Department of Anaesthesiology, Perioperative and Pain Medicine, Max Rady College of Medicine, University of Manitoba, Winnipeg, MB, Canada 5Hamilton Health Sciences, Hamilton, Canada 6Discipline of Family Medicine, Memorial University, St. John’s, Canada 7Discipline of Family Medicine, Cross-Appointed to the Discipline of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Memorial University, St. John’s, Canada GL, WB, WG and ND contributed to the study design, data acquisition and interpretation of the primary care provider (PCP) data described in this publication. These authors also contributed to an unpublished manuscript that reported PCP study findings. The analysis presented in the 2023 published manuscript contains some overlapping information from that unpublished PCP manuscript. The 2023 publication combines PCP data with additional data from a separate patient study. Because of an oversight, these additional authors did not have the opportunity to review the final submission of the publication referenced above. We ask that you make this change and thank you for helping us with this correction. Val Webber, Krisztina Bajzak and Diana L Gustafson. Financial support and sponsorship: Nil. Conflicts of interest: There are no conflicts of interest.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
