Cette étude aborde un enjeu crucial : comment les enfants de 8 à 12 ans, immergés dans l’univers numérique des As de l’info, développent-ils des pratiques informationnelles et communicationnelles pour lutter contre la désinformation ? En adoptant une approche méthodologique mixte, alliant données quantitatives et qualitatives, l’étude met en évidence un lien fort entre les jeunes usagers et la plateforme. Leur motivation repose sur un intérêt personnel pour le contenu informationnel, ce qui les incite à s’engager activement. Les as de l’info se révèle ainsi un levier éducatif, favorisant l’acquisition de nouvelles connaissances et la compréhension de thématiques parfois ignorées. Les usagers partagent le contenu, s’ouvrent aux autres et stimulent la discussion. L’étude souligne également leur engagement à satisfaire leurs besoins cognitifs et affectifs, tout en devenant des acteurs de la lutte contre la désinformation. Ces résultats ouvrent des perspectives de recherche sur l’impact des pratiques informationnelles sur les attitudes et comportements des jeunes publics.
