Abstract
Program Gorontalo Eco-Wise Initiatives (LOCOWISE) di Desa Dunu, Kabupaten Gorontalo Utara, bertujuan melestarikan ekosistem pesisir melalui penghijauan dan pemberdayaan masyarakat. Reboisasi dilakukan di sempadan pantai, kawasan perbukitan, dan pemukiman dengan menanam mangrove, tanaman buah, dan pohon peneduh, yang berfungsi untuk mencegah abrasi, menyerap karbon dioksida, dan meningkatkan kualitas udara. Selain itu, program ini memberikan edukasi kepada masyarakat tentang teknik penanaman, pengelolaan sampah, dan pembuatan kompos, sehingga menciptakan manfaat ekonomi dan meningkatkan kesadaran lingkungan. Fasilitas pendukung seperti taman tematik, papan edukasi, dan pelatihan berkelanjutan ditambahkan untuk meningkatkan estetika dan mempromosikan pariwisata.
