Análisis de la inclusión escolar en educación básica de la Unidad Educativa Bicentenario

Abstract
Garantizar la inclusión y la equidad es fundamental para alcanzar una educación de calidad. Por ello, este estudio tiene como objetivo evaluar el nivel de inclusión educativa a través de la aplicación del instrumento Index for Inclusion, con el fin de identificar las limitaciones presentes en la cultura, las prácticas y las políticas inclusivas. El diseño metodológico adoptado es cuasi experimental. La población objeto de estudio la constituyen docentes hombres y mujeres de la Unidad Educativa Bicentenario, ubicada en la ciudad de Quito. El cuestionario Index for Inclusion es una herramienta validada y utilizada en diversos países, compuesta por 45 ítems distribuidos en tres dimensiones: cultura, políticas y prácticas inclusivas, con respuestas tipo Likert. La recolección de datos se realizó en línea mediante Google Forms, obteniendo información de 61 docentes, considerando variables independientes como sexo, edad, años de experiencia y el subnivel educativo en el que laboran. Dado que las variables dependientes son de tipo ordinal, el análisis se efectuó a través del modelo logístico ordinal utilizando el software estadístico SPSS. Los resultados revelan que los subniveles de educación básica elemental y media presentan mayores niveles de inclusión en comparación con la básica superior y el bachillerato. Además, se observó que los docentes más jóvenes emplean con mayor eficacia los recursos dentro de un enfoque de escuela inclusiva. Una limitación destacada del estudio es la falta de investigaciones sobre el Index for Inclusion en el contexto ecuatoriano, lo que impidió realizar comparaciones con otros estudios similares.
