Abstract
Corporate Philanthropy Report succeed in the classroom.BPIE helps to increase access to mentoring relationships that support students' academic and personal achievements.In addition, ADI encourages and rewards philanthropic activities among its employees.Much of this is done through a Community Activities Board, a global network of ADI employees founded in 2022 that works to facilitate employee engagement initiatives that promote culture, recreation and social welfare in communities where ADI has operations.The Analog Devices Foundation offers a match for employee donations to eligible charitable groups.In 2023, ADI employees helped support local communities through volunteerism with a wide variety of community groups, with focus areas ranging from science, technology, engineering and math education and female empowerment to housing security, veteran and children's health support and environmental and animal welfare.Some examples of this include:• World Food Day.In 2023, ADI employees in nearly two dozen cities around the world donated nearly 5,000 pounds of food and more than $100,000 for World Food Day.For example:• In Vancouver, Canada, employees ran a months-long online fundraiser for the Greater Vancouver Food Bank, raising about $3,000, which was matched by the foundation.• In Burlington, Vermont, employees collected approximately 700 pounds of food as well as cash donations to benefit Aunt Dot's Place and Colchester Food Shelf, local nonprofits supporting food insecurity.• The Holiday Kindness Campaign.This brings together ADI employees who collect and donate cash contributions and gifts to be distributed to those in need during the holiday season.The 2023 Holiday Kindness campaign surpassed the previous year's totals, including in the number of participating offices, the number of children sponsored and the number of toys donated.For example: • In the U.S., ADI employees in Wilmington, Delaware, collected 250 toys for 87 foster children through the Department of Children and Families' Holiday Kindness campaign.• In the Philippines, the company's workers held a holiday party for 27 orphaned children at the Bukid Kabataan Center.• In the U.S. and Ireland, employees in Dublin, Limerick and San Jose, California, collected more than 200 children's toys for the Redemptorist Christmas Appeal, St. Vincent de Paul of Limerick and Dublin and Toys for Tots.Further information is available on the company's website.
