O artigo apresenta uma análise de gênero dos modelos de Política Externa Feminista (PEF) adotados pela Suécia, Canadá, França, México e Espanha entre 2014 e 2022. Até o momento, a literatura tem se concentrado em investigar temas como segurança e ética; valores; culturas e identidades nacionais (Lima, 2023), porém, pouca atenção tem sido dada à conceituação de gênero como uma categoria de análise (Aylward; Brown, 2020). Para explorar esse aspecto, o presente trabalho tem como objetivo comparar os cinco modelos de PEF por meio de uma análise crítica feminista do discurso. Os resultados indicam que o gênero é, frequentemente, usado como uma terminologia análoga à sexualidade, abordando noções de identidade de gênero de forma binária. Dentre as principais contribuições do artigo, propõe-se a ideia de autodeterminação com base em marcadores de mulheridades e/ou feminilidades por meio de abordagens transfeministas.
