Abstract
INTRODUCTION: Thirty years after the Ottawa Charter, a cultural revolution is still considered necessary to reorientate the healthcare system towards a more preventive approach. The Health Prevention Service is part of this approach, but its implementation since 2018 has varied depending on the region, course of study and training establishment. In 2021-2022, 297 third-year medical students in Tours will have developed 94 interventions, 43 of which will be interprofessional. It seems essential to evaluate the proposed organisation from the students' point of view. METHODS: An annual descriptive study using questionnaires explored the level of student satisfaction with the teaching support, the associated lectures and resources offered, the intervention developed and the interprofessional approach. RESULTS: In 2021-2022, among the 118 respondents, 83.1% were satisfied with the overall support offered and 88.1% were fairly or very satisfied with the project developed. Depending on the conference, between 19.5% and 39.8% of students said they had not attended. Those who did attend appreciated them overall, with a greater general interest in the thematic ones. The tutorial support provided was considered too repetitive or represented essential stages in the progress of the projects. The negative aspects expressed were mainly related to students' regional assignments, interprofessionality and associated administrative aspects such as advance payment of travel expenses Discussion: The organisation deployed over the last 3 years has resulted in a good level of student satisfaction and deserves to be continued, while proposing areas for improvement in terms of interprofessional issues.
