Abstract
목적 : 본 연구의 목적은 감각통합치료가 모발뽑기장애 아동의 감각처리능력에 미치는 효과를 알아보는데 있다. 연구방법 : 연구대상은 7세 4개월 남아이고, 45분 씩 총 24회기의 감각통합치료를 실시하였다. 중재효과를 알아보기 위한 도구로는 감각프로파일(Sensory Profile; SP), 캐나다작업수행측정(Canadian Occupational Performance Measure; COPM), 아동의 모발뽑기척도-부모용(Trichotillomania Scale for Children, Parent version; TSC-P)을 실시하였고, 양육자의 보고에 따른 변화를 기술하였다. 결과 : 연구 결과에 따르면, 모발뽑기장애를 가진 아동들에게 감각통합치료를 적용한 결과, 모발 뽑기 심각도 감소와 함께 감각처리능력, 작업수행 능력 및 만족도 점수에 긍정적인 향상이 관찰되었다. 결론 : 본 연구에서는 모발뽑기 증상을 가진 아동들에게 감각통합치료를 적용하여 작업수행 능력을 향상시키는 중재 방법을 제시하였다. 이러한 결과는 임상적인 근거로 활용될 수 있으며, 모발뽑기 증상을 가진 아동들에게 적절한 치료 방법을 제공하는 데에도 큰 도움이 될 것이다.
