Abstract
Este artículo científico busca analizar los avances en el diagnóstico y tratamiento del cáncer urológico y la integración de la resonancia magnética multiparamétrica en la práctica oncológica. En cuanto a los lineamientos de orden metodológico, este se caracteriza por ser una investigación documental, donde se hizo una selección de los escritos especializados en el área del campo de la salud, específicamente en el diagnóstico y tratamiento del cáncer urológico, esto permite generar un proceso narrativo en el tema objeto de estudio en cuanto al método para los procesos de elaboración, se empleó el análisis de contenido, donde se empleó estudios descriptivos epidemiológico a través de un proceso de observación documental que permitió presentar información relevante que ayude a comprender los agentes causales, signos y síntomas, diagnóstico, entre otros aspectos relevantes sobre el cáncer de próstata. Se pudo concluir que el cáncer en la próstata es una afección muy recurrente por lo que requiere de técnicas que ayuden a su diagnóstico y esto se puede hacer a través del uso de la resonancia magnética multiparamétrica, se caracteriza por la precisión en su evaluación para la detección de cáncer de la próstata, siendo una técnica de evaluación más precisa y menos invasiva, gracias a los campos magnéticos y las ondas que ayudan a obtener imágenes específicas de alta resolución permitiendo la identificación de alguna lesión sospechosa de cáncer.
