Las fístulas enterovesicales son conexiones anómalas que se forman entre el tracto intestinal y la vejiga urinaria, siendo generalmente resultantes de procesos inflamatorios, infecciosos o patológicos en el colon, el recto o el intestino delgado. Se llevó a cabo una revisión bibliográfica que abarcó la literatura publicada sobre fístulas enterovesicales, centrándose específicamente en su diagnóstico y el enfoque de tratamiento quirúrgico integral entre las especialidades de urología y cirugía general. La búsqueda se realizó en bases de datos científicas como PubMed, Scopus y Google Scholar. Se seleccionaron y analizaron artículos originales, revisiones sistemáticas, metaanálisis y guías clínicas que abordaran la etiología, las herramientas diagnósticas, manejo quirúrgico. Se priorizaron las publicaciones de los últimos 20 años para asegurar la pertinencia y actualización de la información. La colaboración multidisciplinaria entre urología y cirugía general es esencial para abordar integralmente estos casos, el tratamiento quirúrgico exitoso implica una estrategia personalizada que incluya la resección del segmento intestinal afectado, la reparación de la fistula y la reconstrucción de la vejiga, buscando reducir las complicaciones y favorecer una recuperación satisfactoria.
