Dans la suite des actions conduites pour brosser le portrait des utilisations des systèmes d’intelligence artificielle dans différents secteurs de l’enseignement et de la recherche à l’Université Laval, il a été confié à l’Obvia un mandat pour une consultation exploratoire visant à comprendre les grandes tendances liées à l’utilisation actuelle d’outils d'IA en recherche à l’Université Laval. Les propos collectés lors des groupes de discussion ont permis d’identifier les principales utilisations des outils d’IA en contexte de recherche, en rappelant les motivations, les risques et les enjeux perçus. Un accord se dégage sur le fait que ces outils sont là pour durer et requièrent le développement de compétences spécifiques pour un usage éthique et responsable, contenu dans un cadre qui veille au maintien de l’intégrité scientifique tout en autorisant l’exploration de pratiques nouvelles.
