Abstract
Artikel ini merupakan riset kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana tenaga pendamping membangun dan menerapkan modal sosial dalam memanfaatkan skema Kulin KK yang diterima KTH Paloil Tob di kawasan hutan KHDTK Sisimeni Sanam Nusa Tenggara Timur. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan survei lapangan dan diskusi dengan informan serta studi pustaka atau dokumentasi. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa kepercayaan, norma dan sanksi serta jejaring kerja merupakan modal sosial yang diperlukan untuk mendorong KTH Paloil Tob menjadi kelompok tani yang mandiri dan mampu meningkatkan kesejahteraan anggotanya. Adanya rasa saling percaya antar anggota kelompok dan pendamping membantu komunikasi dan kesepahaman antar pendamping dengan KTH sehingga dapat menerima dengan baik saran dan rencana kerja KTH yang diprogramkan oleh pendamping yaitu pembuatan rules/norma dan sanksi, memperbaiki pengelolaan kelembagaan KTH dan mengembangkan jejaring kerja serta pasar yang lebih luas. Artikel ini memberikan contoh pendekatan pemanfaatan skema pengelolaan hutan yang humanis sehingga mampu mengurangi konflik dengan masyarakat sekaligus meningkatkan kesejahteraan mereka.
