Kompetenzorientierung in den Curricula primärqualifizierender Bachelorstudiengänge der Hebammenwissenschaft in Deutschland

Abstract
Zusammenfassung Hintergrund Die Vollakademisierung des Hebammenberufs erfordert von Hochschulen, die generische Beschreibung von Abschlussqualifikationen für Bachelorstudiengänge und das gesetzlich festgelegte (internationale) Kompetenzprofil von Hebammen zu konkretisieren und in berufsspezifische Kompetenzziele zu übersetzen. Forschungsziel Bestandsdokumentation zu theoretischen und konzeptionellen Grundlagen der kompetenzorientierten Curriculumentwicklung deutscher Bachelorstudiengänge der Hebammenwissenschaft. Methodik Querschnittserhebung von Hebammenstudiengängen mittels eines Online-Fragebogens (8 Items) zu theoretischen und konzeptionellen Grundlagen des kompetenzorientierten Curriculums. Die deskriptive Datenanalyse schließt Angaben von n = 20 Studiengängen ein. Ergebnisse Mehrheitlich nutzen Studiengänge theoriebasierte Konzepte, um das normative Qualifikationsprofil akademischer Hebammen zu spezifizieren. Neben kognitionstheoretischen (Kompetenzprofil nach Pehlke-Milde = 55 %, CanMEDS = 30 % [Canadian Medical Education Directives for Specialists]) und handlungstheoretischen (Kompetenzmodell nach Roth = 10 %) Modellen entwickeln manche Studiengänge eigene Kompetenzmodelle (35 %). Schlussfolgerung Die Ergebnisse liefern einen ersten Überblick zu grundlegenden Kompetenzkonzepten primärqualifizierender Bachelorstudiengänge. In Kombination mit Berufsfeldanalysen und Daten zur empirischen Prüfung hebammenspezifischer Kompetenzmodelle bilden die Ergebnisse eine Basis für den Fachdiskurs zur hochschulübergreifenden Harmonisierung.
