Abstract. City branding aims to create a positive image and city appeal, attract tourists, investment, and advance economic growth and overall city development. Yogyakarta is identified as one of the cities that has implemented a city branding strategy, as a cultural city with the slogan "Jogja Istimewa". However, there has been no research that identifies the performance in implementing the city branding "Jogja Istimewa". While branding should involve continuous and integrated management, not just a logo or slogan. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to performance in implementing city branding in the city of Yogyakarta. This study uses a mixed-method, which is a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods. The data collection methods used are questionnaires, interviews, documentation, and literature studies. The performance assessment of the implementation of city branding is carried out by obtaining expert agreement using the Delphi method. The results of the study indicate that the conditions for implementing city branding in Yogyakarta City are sufficient with a score of 3.30 with a reflection of the use of local cultural elements, infrastructure development, Community, Policy, Governance, Stakeholder Synergy, Financing, and Community Efforts. Abstrak. City branding bertujuan untuk menciptakan citra positif dan daya tarik kota, menarik wisatawan, investasi, serta memajukan pertumbuhan ekonomi dan pembangunan kota secara keseluruhan. Yogyakarta diidentifikasi sebagai salah satu kota yang telah menerapkan strategi city branding, sebagai kota budaya dengan slogan “Jogja Istimewa”. Meski demikian, belum ada penelitian yang mengidentifikasi kinerja dalam pengimplementasian city branding “Jogja Istimewa”. Sedangkan branding seharusnya melibatkan manajemen yang berkesinambungan dan terintegrasi, bukan hanya sekedar logo ataupun slogan. Maka dari itu, tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengkaji kinerja dalam pengimplemmentasian city branding di Kota Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan mixed-method, yaitu gabungan antara metode kualitatif serta kuantitatif. Adapun metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dengan menggunakan kuesioner, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan studi literatur. Penilaian kinerja Implementasi city branding dilakukan dengan memperoleh kesepakatan ahli dengan menggunakan metode delphi. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kondisi terhadap pengimplementasian city branding Kota Yogyakarta sudah cukup dengan skor 3,30 dengan adanya pencerminan penggunaan unsur budaya lokal, pengembangan infrastruktur, Komunitas, Kebijakan, Tata Kelola Pemerintahan, Sinegritas Pemangku Kepentingan, Pembiayaan, dan Usaha Masyarakat.
