Abstract
Abstract. The population and density in urban areas are growing drastically, including Bojongloa Kaler Sub-district, which is the most populous sub-district in Bandung City. Even so, people want a city that is comfortable to live in and livable, so that the concept of Livable city can be a suitable city concept. The public can assess how livable their city is because livability is a basic service provided by the city government. This study aims to determine the performance of livable city in Bojongloa Kaler Sub-district as a reference for recommendations in improving the quality of livable city. In this research, livable city focuses on seven aspects, namely Physical City, Environmental Quality, Transportation, Facilities, Infrastructure-Utilities, Economy, and Social and Security. The analysis method used was Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) and qualitative descriptive analysis. In collecting primary data, the methods used were observation, questionnaires, and interviews, while secondary data was collected using literature studies and institutional surveys. The results of the analysis show that according to public perception, the performance of livable city in Bojongloa Kaler Sub-district is still quite low. Based on IPA analysis, there are nine indicator that are the top priority to be improved. Abstrak. Jumlah penduduk serta kepadatan penduduk di kawasan perkotaan tumbuh secara drastis, termasuk Kecamatan Bojongloa Kaler yang merupakan kecamatan terpadat di Kota Bandung. Meskipun begitu, masyarakat menginginkan kota yang nyaman untuk ditempati dan livable atau layak huni sehingga konsep Livable city dapat menjadi konsep kota yang sesuai. Masyarakat dapat menilai bagaimana kinerja livable city di tempat tinggalnya sendiri karena kelayakhunian kota menjadi pelayanan mendasar dari pemerintah kota. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kinerja livable city di Kecamatan Bojongloa Kaler sebagai acuan untuk rekomendasi dalam peningkatan kualitas livable city. Pada penelitian ini, livable city berfokus pada tujuh aspek yaitu Fisik Kota, Kualitas Lingkungan, Transportasi, Fasilitas, Infrastruktur-Utilitas, Ekonomi, serta Sosial dan Keamanan. Metode pendekatan yang digunakan adalah mix method atau metode kombinasi dengan analisis yang digunakan yaitu Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) dan analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Dalam pengumpulan data primer, metode yang digunakan adalah observasi, kuesioner, dan wawancara, sedangkan untuk pengumpulan data sekunder menggunakan metode studi literatur, survei instansional, dan citra satelit. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa menurut persepsi masyarakat, kinerja livable city di Kecamatan Bojongloa Kaler masih cukup rendah. Berdasarkan analisis IPA, terdapat sembilan indikator yang menjadi prioritas utama untuk ditingkatkan.
