Identifikasi Praktik Circular Economy di Desa Wisata Jalatrang
Bibliographic record
Abstract
Abstract. The growing intensity of tourism activities requires a paradigm shift through a circular economy approach that emphasizes the sustainability of natural resources in order to achieve balanced and sustainable tourism. Circular tourism serves as a model capable of creating a virtuous cycle that generates goods and services without depleting limited resources, promoting more responsible tourism. Jalatrang Tourism Village, located in Cipaku District, Ciamis Regency, has the potential to implement circular economy practices in its tourism attractions to support sustainable tourism. This study aims to identify circular economy practices in Jalatrang Tourism Village. A qualitative deductive approach was used, based on the three principles of the circular economy by the Ellen MacArthur Foundation. Data collection was carried out through observation, documentation, and interviews. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results show that circular economy practices are evident in seed cultivation, waste management into organic fertilizer, and the utilization of local resources into circular-designed products. However, the implementation remains limited—synthetic dyes are still used in batik-making, there are no separate waste bins for organic and inorganic waste, and no wastewater treatment facilities (IPAL) are available for both batik production and privately-managed tourist attractions.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
score_only:v0-immature-baseline · verbatim from the scoring run: score_only means the number may rank works, and no category label ships from itClassification
machine, unvalidatedMachine predicted; a candidate call from one teacher head, not a consensus.
