Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

Abstract. From the criteria of a livable city, one important element in realizing a livable city is the availability of adequate pedestrian infrastructure. Safe, comfortable, and well-connected pedestrian paths not only support citizen mobility but also contribute to environmental quality, transportation accessibility, and social interaction. Jalan Kebon Kawung is one of the main roads in Bandung City that plays a vital role in connecting Bandung Station with various surrounding destinations. This road is also a gateway for tourists from outside the city, which makes it often congested with pedestrians. In this study, qualitative descriptive analysis and Level of Service were conducted. This study aims to analyze the service of pedestrian paths on Jalan Kebon Kawung by identifying the condition of the infrastructure. The results show that most of the pedestrian paths on this road do not meet standards, with narrow, damaged sidewalks, and conversion into street vendor stalls and parking lots that hinder pedestrians. In addition, the level of service of the pedestrian path shows that most of the observation time reaches level A, indicating optimal conditions. This study recommends improvements to pedestrian infrastructure to increase comfort, safety, and create a more inclusive and friendly environment for pedestrians.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
