Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

Abstract. This study aims to analyze the relationship between the development of tourism villages and the subjective well-being of the community in Alamendah Village, Bandung Regency. The background of this research is based on the phenomenon of increasing village tourism activities which have not been fully studied in terms of non-material well-being of the community. The approach used is quantitative with the type of explanatory research. Primary data was collected through the distribution of a Likert-scale questionnaire to 100 respondents, while secondary data was obtained from official government planning documents and publications. The research instruments included eight indicators of tourism development and five subjective indicators of well-being, which were analyzed using canonical correlation tests. The results of the study show that there is a significant relationship between the development of tourism villages and the subjective level of community well-being, especially in the indicators of innovation, facilities, and communication that contribute to life satisfaction and community gratitude. These findings show that the success of tourism villages is not only measured through economic indicators, but also from how the community interprets the social and psychological changes that occur. Participatory approaches and community-based management are important keys in creating sustainable tourism villages.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
