Depuis les annes, on assiste en France comme en Europe la di usion de logiques de gestion issues du monde de l'entreprise dans des univers professionnels jusque-l trangers la rgulation marchande.Si l'hpital public a certainement constitu le terrain le plus investi par les chercheurs (Belorgey, ; Demailly, ; Nobre, ; Juven et al., ) pour analyser ce que l'on a dsign au travers de l'expression New Public Management (Hood, ), ce processus s'est aussi dvelopp ailleurs, et notamment dans le secteur ducatif.La conversion du systme scolaire aux principes de ce management s'est acclre partir des annes , en lien avec la politique ducative europenne (Bruno et al., ; Monte et Rmi-Giraud, ), et a donn lieu une production lgislative importante ciblant prioritairement l'enseignement secondaire et suprieur ( loi Fillon , ; loi LRU, ; pacte de carrire , ; rforme Chatel, ).Plusieurs aspects de la conversion du systme d'enseignement aux techniques de gestion attaches au New Public Management ont d'ores et dj t tudis, qu'il s'agisse de l'individualisation des carrires et des rmunrations, de la culture du rsultat ou de la mise en concurrence des quipes (Demailly, ; Laval, ; Laval et al., ; Fassa-Recrosio et Bataille, ).Malgr ces bouleversements, l'organisation de l'enseignement public en France reste du ressort de l'tat central, qu'il s'agisse du calendrier et des programmes scolaires, ou encore du statut des enseignants.La lente conversion au modle de l'tat-stratge (Bezes, ) se repre aux dynamiques que connaissent aujourd'hui l'institution scolaire et ses agents :-l'entre dans le mtier d'enseignant (de la maternelle au lyce) se fait encore majoritairement sous l'gide du statut de fonctionnaire 1.
