Abstract
Cet article fait état d’une série de techniques et de technologies du cinéma présentes dans les milieux de travail contemporains et qui remplissent des fonctions allant de l’éducation professionnelle à l’exécution de tâches de production. En prenant pour point de départ la contestation typique des cinéastes militants du xx e siècle, pour qui l’interdiction de filmer à l’usine était le signe d’une stratégie politique de la classe dominante, l’article propose qu’à l’heure où les techniques et les technologies du cinéma sont devenues essentielles aux régimes de perception humains et non humains derrière la production de richesse, un nouveau terrain s’ouvre pour les créations cinématographiques. Celles-ci ont désormais la possibilité de déterritorialiser la catégorie économique du travail en portant l’expérimentation esthétique au coeur des systèmes de production. Un exemple est proposé d’un projet qui pourrait servir d’avant-garde pour un militantisme cinématographique du travail adapté au xxi e siècle (et à l’Anthropocène), et qui témoigne d’une émergence de créations cinématographiques dans des domaines qui ne sont pas habituellement considérés comme ceux du cinéma.
