Abstract

Studying teacher performance issues is never-ending, besides there are still crucial problems related to regulations that often occur in the field of education. This study limits the performance of the implications of leadership style, teacher work motivation and interpersonal communication. Applying an associative method with a quantitative approach to a sample of 64 teachers at SMA Negeri 1 Meureudu, Pidie Jaya Regency. With path analysis, the following findings were obtained: 1) teacher performance has a positive and significant contribution from the leadership style factor, teacher work motivation and communication, both directly and indirectly because of the causal relationship between the three factors. The contributions are 35.44 percent, 36.34 percent and 40.25 percent respectively. 2) Simultaneously, leadership style, work motivation and interpersonal communication contribute to increasing teacher performance by 43.8 percent. 3). There is a causal relationship between the leadership style factor, teacher work motivation and interpersonal communication with a moderate category.
