クリ収穫作業における2種の自走式収穫機,1種のトラクターマウント式収穫機の省力性を特徴づけた.国産自走式収穫機のクリ果の収穫率はトルコ製収穫機H130よりも優れており,走行速度の影響を受ける可能性が示唆された.作業効率を評価したところ,機械収穫は機種によらず作業時の落果密度(一定の面積に落下したきゅう果や果実の数)が高いほど収穫効率が優れる一方で,慣行法である火ばさみを用いた手作業で収穫する方法は落果密度によらず一定の効率であることが示唆された.きゅう果の収穫およびいが剥きを機械化した場合,慣行法と比べて最大約4倍効率的であり,国産収穫機といが剥き機の組み合わせが最も優れることが示唆された.
