A MERCANTILIZAÇÃO DA FORMAÇÃO DOCENTE: TENDÊNCIAS DO EDUNEGÓCIO NO BRASIL

Abstract
Nesse estudo objetivamos compreender sobre a crescente privatização da formação docente no Brasil, evidenciando o fenômeno conhecido como edunegócio. O processo de privatização da educação, especialmente da formação de professores, tem sido impulsionado por reformas neoliberais no Brasil a partir dos anos 1990. O foco recai sobre o papel das parcerias público-privadas (PPP) e sua influência na lógica e na prática da formação docente. Para tanto, foi realizada uma revisão bibliográfica de caráter qualitativo, que articulou estudos acadêmicos, documentos oficiais e pesquisas sobre neoliberalismo, PPP e think tanks educacionais, tendo como principais referenciais autores como Stephen Ball, Laval & Dardot, Frigotto e Apple. Os resultados evidenciam que, desde os anos 1990, as PPP consolidaram uma valorização crescente do setor privado na formação docente, capturando o discurso da qualidade e ressignificando-o sob a ótica da eficiência de mercado e da gestão por resultados. Tal movimento reduz a centralidade do Estado e legitima o mercado como regulador educacional, ao mesmo tempo em que acentua a precarização da formação docente, ao privilegiar formações aligeiradas e tecnocráticas em detrimento de percursos críticos e emancipadores. Conclui-se que a resistência estratégica passa pela defesa da universidade pública, pela valorização da pesquisa socialmente referenciada e por percursos formativos comprometidos com a equidade, autonomia e justiça social.
