Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

Title: Integration of Ki Hajar Dewantara’s Leadership Values in the Redesign of the Educational Corridor in Metro City The Ki Hajar Dewantara Street Corridor is a highly active area due to its location within an educational zone. However, the corridor faces significant challenges, particularly concerning pedestrian comfort and safety. The accumulation of vehicles and pedestrians during peak hours, combined with the lack of adequate crossing facilities, has led to unsafe conditions for road users. This research aims to identify the physical condition of the corridor, analyze the behavioral patterns and activities occurring within it, and redesign the Ki Hajar Dewantara Street Corridor by incorporating Ki Hajar Dewantara’s leadership values into its planning and design. This study employs a descriptive qualitative method to identify and analyze both physical and non-physical issues within the corridor. The narrative framework of Ki Hajar Dewantara's leadership trilogy—ing ngarsa sung tuladha (providing exemplary leadership), ing madya mangun karsa (fostering collaboration), and tut wuri handayani (offering support and encouragement)—is utilized to develop solutions tailored to the educational context of the area. The findings highlight non-compliance with established standards for public facilities, such as pedestrian pathways, building layouts, and spatial management. Based on these findings, a redesign proposal for the Ki Hajar Dewantara Street Corridor has been developed. This proposal aligns with Metro City’s spatial planning policies, positioning the area as both a culinary tourism destination and an educational zone that prioritizes safety, comfort, and integration, ensuring its functionality and relevance for users.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
