Abstract
O artigo analisa a continuidade histórica de uma guerra permanente contra comunidades insurgentes, exemplificada por Palmares e Belo Monte, e desloca o foco para a função operacional da mestiçagem enquanto nova categoria de racialização que torna a violência estatal mais sofisticada e menos visível. Demonstrar-se-á que o genocídio e epistemicídio dessas comunidades não se enquadram em reações isoladas a rebeliões, mas a manifestação de um contrato racial que legitima o dualismo, superioridade e inferioridade. A mestiçagem atua duplamente, como mecanismo de domesticação simbólica que dilui demandas políticas em narrativas de integração cultural e como marcador que identifica práticas autônomas como perigosas, legitimando despossessão, militarização e criminalização. Neste sentido, a articulação entre a repressão estatal e a racialização do inimigo materializam a permanência de estruturas coloniais de poder que, reconfiguradas ao longo do tempo, matem-se como elemento constitutivo da genealogia brasileira.
