Abstract
Küreselleşme ile birlikte uluslararası ilişkiler giderek yoğunlaşmış, diplomasi devletlerarası iletişimde vazgeçilmez bir unsur hâline gelmiştir. Bu süreçte, farklı diller ve kültürler arasında köprü kuran diplomatik çeviri, yalnızca dilsel bir aktarım aracı değil, aynı zamanda kültürel ve stratejik bir iletişim biçimi olarak öne çıkmaktadır. Diplomaside kullanılan dil, kelimelerin ötesinde amaçların, politik stratejilerin ve kimi zaman krizlerin taşıyıcısı olduğundan, çevirmenin sorumluluğu büyük önem taşır. Özellikle Arapça-Türkçe dil çiftinde gerçekleştirilen diplomatik çeviriler, yapısal farklılıklar, kültürel referanslar ve terminolojik uyumsuzluklar nedeniyle daha karmaşık bir süreçtir. Arapçanın mecaz, kalıplaşmış ifade ve dolaylı anlatıma dayalı yapısı, Türkçeye çevrilirken hem anlam hem de diplomatik ton açısından yüksek dikkat gerektirir. Bu nedenle, diplomatik çeviri yalnızca dilsel eşdeğerlik değil, aynı zamanda kültürel duyarlılık, temsil bilinci ve diplomatik nezaket gerektiren bir uzmanlık alanıdır. Literatür incelendiğinde, diplomasi bağlamında çeviri konusunun sınırlı sayıda çalışmayla ele alındığı, özellikle Arapça-Türkçe dil çiftine odaklanan araştırmaların oldukça az olduğu görülmektedir. Bu çalışma, hem diplomatik çeviri alanındaki boşluğu doldurmayı hem de Arapça-Türkçe çeviri özelinde kuramsal ve uygulamalı bir katkı sunmayı amaçlamaktadır. Böylece, diplomatik çevirinin uluslararası ilişkilerdeki rolünü güçlendiren ve bu alanda akademik bir farkındalık oluşturan özgün bir girişim niteliği taşımaktadır.
