Abstract
Kokoomateoksessa tarkastellaan ajankohtaisella tutkimusotteella tilintarkastuksen ja kestävyystiedon varmentamisen eri ulottuvuuksia ja ongelmia, joilla on liittymäkohtia myös johdon ja omistajaohjauksen kysymyksiin. Nämä kolme näkökulmaa – kestävyys, johto ja omistajaohjaus – läpileikkaavat teoskokonaisuutta ja toimivat sen temaattisina painopistealueina. Teos koostuu 15 vertaisarvioidusta tutkimusartikkelista. Monitieteinen ja samalla käytännönläheinen teos kattaa niin liiketaloustieteellisiä, hallintotieteellisiä kuin oikeudellisiakin näkökulmia. Artikkelit on jaettu tarkastusta ja kestävyyttä käsitteleviin osioihin. Ensimmäisessä osiossa tarkastelun kohteena ovat laaja-alaisesti varmennuksen eri ulottuvuudet ja niiden kehityskulut – erityisesti johdon ja omistajaohjauksen näkökulmasta. Keskiössä on hyvä hallintotapa ja sen osatekijät. Teoksen toinen osio keskittyy kestävyysraportointiin. Siinä tarkastelluksi tulevat erilaiset kestävyysinformaation hallintaan ja varmentamiseen liittyvät kysymykset. Teos on hyödyllinen varmennuksen ja arvioinnin asiantuntijoille, tutkijoille ja opiskelijoille.
