<ns3:p>W artykule przedstawiono w sposób ogólny działanie wybranych środków przymusu bezpośredniego na organizm ludzki oraz zakres czynności, jakie należy podjąć po ich użyciu lub wykorzystaniu, w tym zabiegów z obszaru pierwszej pomocy. Celem przeprowadzonych analiz było określenie i wskazanie zakresu potrzebnej pomocy w sytuacjach wystąpienia negatywnych następstw zdrowotnych po użyciu lub wykorzystaniu niektórych z tych środków. Ponadto zaprezentowano praktyczne i znormalizowane podejścia w kwestii oceny i leczenia pacjentów z rzeczywistymi lub potencjalnymi obrażeniami ciała lub skutkami użycia bądź wykorzystania niektórych z nich — dokonano tego na podstawie wyjaśnienia działania poszczególnych narzędzi i technologii stosowanych przez uprawnione podmioty</ns3:p>
