Mathematical Modeling and Numerical Simulation of Dissipative Effects in a Thermoelectric Conversion System
Bibliographic record
Abstract
This paper presents a mathematical model and numerical simulation of a thermoelectric conversion system based on a coaxial heat exchanger, with an emphasis on energy dissipation phenomena. The model consists of a coupled system of nonlinear partial differential equations describing heat transfer through convection, conduction and interfacial exchanges in four domains: the working fluid, separating wall, natural gas and insulating layer. Structural dissipativity constraints are introduced to ensure thermodynamic consistency and capture irreversible losses. A finite element discretization in space combined with a Crank-Nicolson time-stepping scheme is used to compute the evolution of the temperature fields. Numerical simulations demonstrate the impact of dissipative effects on the system’s total energy and stability. The results offer valuable insights for optimizing the design and efficiency of thermal energy systems under realistic operating conditions.

Teacher imitationNot calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
score_only:v0-immature-baseline · verbatim from the scoring run: score_only means the number may rank works, and no category label ships from itClassification
machine, unvalidatedMachine predicted; a candidate call from one teacher head, not a consensus.
