Abstract
The International Society for Pediatric and Adolescent Diabetes (ISPAD) is the leading global organization dedicated to improving the lives of children and adolescents living with diabetes. With the mission to advance clinical and scientific knowledge, promote education, and advocate for better care and treatment, the ISPAD Clinical Practice Consensus Guidelines (CPCG), first released in 1995 (1) with subsequent updates in 2000, 2009, 2014, 2018, 2022 and 2024, have been a mainstay of pediatric diabetes care. The guidelines are designed as a resource for health care practitioners (HCP) with an interest in the care of children and adolescents with diabetes.
